MIA WASIKOWSKA has been named the face of Miu Miu's spring/summer 2012 campaign, replacing then-14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld, whose Bruce Weber-shot ads were a departure from Miu Miu’s usual campaign format. Mia’s are a return to the glossy, made-up studio shots Miu Miu has done in the past and we’re pretty sure there’s no risk of them being deemed irresponsible.
"I'm not sure about becoming a campaign star," she told. "It would depend on what brand is, what it was for and on timings - we'll see."
It’s also a big coup for Wasikowska, for whom this is her first major campaign. Like Hailee, she’s worn the brand before and attended the spring 2011 show.
