Fendi and new collection of baby accessories

Rome-based fashion house Fendi is teaming up with Italian manufacturer for a collection of baby accessories.
WWD reports December 23 that items including a stroller, pram and baby carrier have been designed in keeping with the fashion house's classic style.
Featuring the brand's iconic "F" logo and with a color palette comprising cream, mahogany and blue, the pieces will be available at selected outlets worldwide in 2012. In 2008 Fendi teamed up with Japanese brand on infant items such as strollers and jersey-made animal puppets, and the news of their new collection follows an increasing trend for designer baby.
In addition, just last week it was announced that Oscar de la Renta is about to design pieces for  stylish munchkins. And let’s not forget the McCartney for Gap Kids collection, which had fans like Carla Bruni squeezing into the British designer’s pint-size military jackets and printed dresses.
Kids these days, they’re just on a roll.
